Abstract

One of the main problems that crosses today's society is the loss of politics. However social movements of the subcontractors of CODELCO and Bosques Arauco, may seem to be against this tendency. This paper it elucidate if this situation is real and if these movements are susceptible to being analysed from a political point of view. Also investigates if they have chances of projecting themselves in time, and if their demands and vindications are rather situational. The results indicate that there are different states of politicization in the movements of CODELCO and Bosques Arauco. The chances of the social movements from CODELCO to project themselves in a political way are higher than the chances from Bosques Arauco social movements.
